Man Sees Long Lost Son for the First Time After 28 Years

A new app called Periscope is helping people connect in new ways. In this video the Fox news team surprises a man by offering to fill up his gas tank to go see his son in San Diego. But, they didn’t stop there. Not only did they give him $500 dollars to go see his son, but they increased it to $1000 and took it a step further. Called the “Surprise Squad,” in this video a man goes to see his son, “David,” whom not only he never seen before, but he had never seen his grandchildren either.

In a real sad set of circumstances, the father was in the military and they simply lost track. With only a few days apart in their birthdays, they are reunited. Happiness and tears ensue, and this is truly the best day of their lives for both of them. You should see the kids’ faces when they see their long-lost grandpa for the first time!

Regardless of what happens in people’s lifetimes, it never ceases to amaze me how wonderful things can be when time passes and fate intervenes. There are no word to describe how both of these men feel when they finally find each other. For anyone, with any kind of heart at all, this video is absolutely heartwarming. Everyone who longs for their family will appreciate the true passion both father and son have for one another. Watch the video and prepare to shed a tear – and please SHARE on Facebook.
